ThrillVille Off the Rails - PSP - Review

Everyones proubly seen these games like theme park tycoon this game goes to a cute style aimed at mini games and mini micro management I’ve been really wanting to try this after i seen some other reviews of it so i thought what the hell let’s try this thing out see if it really lives to the hype everyone has pushed on it.

Basic’s  :

The game starts you out as a person who falls in to the whole theme park industry you get to become the owner of the park. you create your own avatar and then you get to roam around your new park and get to find and interact with your guests becomming friends with them and also using them to achieve enough kudo’s to help you unlock the next challanges.

Gameplay:

You have an avatar like i said above you can walk around ride any of the rides you built and then customize them color and themes and also find hidden items that unlock other rides and trophys for challanges. There are also mini games a lot of them from space shooters to a mini game to train entertainers in the park like a dance dance revloition push button game. then they also have mini games for eatch job such as the cleaner you go around and get to try and suck up as much garabage as you can with in a Time limit.  Some of the mini games are really rough and pretty fun. They also allow you to go up vs people so if you become friends with people in the park you can then challange them to a game like racing and race them and you get kudos for winning.  These can also be used to finish challanges such as get people to like the park more or impress people and doing so by beating the person you finish challanges. a very nice touch making it more about the games then micro managment.

 Graphics :

The game looks great , the game has tons of avatars on screen eatch have there own little personality the presintation is well done and nicely layed out. The rollercoasters are really well done  the view from rideing on the coasters is pretty nice makes you feel like your riding the rails.  eatch part of the park has it’s own theme and makes it stand out. from the western to the underwater to the space station and rides can be customized.

Sound :

The sound isnt that bad it’s basic you can tell people screams from eatch ride and the rides eatch have there own sound effects and eatch part of the park has it’s own set of sounds and effects nicely done.

Final Thoughts :

I didn’t think i would enjoy the game but after playing it more and more and unlocking trophys and new rides and new lands it gets very addicting and then making your own rollercoasters is really kewl. and then being able to ride eatch ride and lots of little stuff such as challanges and hidden items around the game. and a Ad-hoc Multiplayer could make this game a really great game to bring your friends in and show off your park and the mini games aren’t to bad there are many to choose from. The game is a big pricy at the moment once it goes down it will be Very worth the money if you have kids or a person who likes to make there own park this is a fun game  and lots of stuff to do . Get bored jump on a coaster and ride around..
