HP w2408h 24-inch LCD - Review

I Recently built a new pc and to really show it off i spotted this nice HP lcd and i had to have it 1920×1200 1080p i wanted something for gaming but also something that would fit perfectly on a desk and also look good while doing it. Here is my review of this LCD

Basics :

Like i said above i was in the market to get a nice screen for gaming and for photoshop and for general working on the computer and less strain on my eyes. I originally ordered a Westinghouse L2410NM After buying it i knew i was screwed UPS & best buy shipped me a broken box damaged badly Screen lasted 2 weeks… They shopped me another Same issue it died the same day it arrived. They asked me what would i like so i started browsing the store and i spotted this hot high end HP 1080p LCD it was around 100$ more then the westing house but also a better quality. The neck is adjustable tilts up and down and also comes off so you can mount it on the wall with a separate wall mount (Not included) comes packing a USB hub on the side for 2 usbs. also has a nice hdmi , component and VGA connects. I couldn’t find a screen to fit on my desk 19 1/2 of clearance and this screen fits perfect i have tops of room to move it up and adjust it.

So i bought the hp and took it home and first thoughts was the box it nicely built and the construction on the thing was great nicely packed. after putting it together i was set and running at 1080p on HDMI

Look :

This thing looks like a million bucks it looks great nicely built and very well might i add it can be rotated 90 degrees & has a neat little sensor that detects light and can darken and brighten the screen if necessary. The screen is bright and great colors it comes with software that can calibrate it just for you and comes in very hand and works very good. not to bright not to dark the adjustable neck is a major plus you can move it up and down with ease

Cost :

it Cost around 500$ USD well worth the price for this screen 1080p 1920×1200 VGA/HDMI and Comp with USB addons

Final thoughts :

Great screen , looks amazing on your desk , the cost was a bit higher then i wanted to pay but you get a lot for the money. It games so nicely and looks great doing so you can sit far back and enjoy the eye candy. then on top of that it packs 2 USBs on the side so if you got a headset that needs a usb it’s easy access. If your in the market for a new lcd and want something thats perfect sized for a desk this is the screen.

9.5/10
